I got my first camera when I was 7 years old. This was the beginning of many videography adventures: I created music and skit videos, sewing time lapse tutorials, interactive YouTube games, hair dyeing tutorials, family interviews, and travelogues. The freedom to experiment with the film medium was exhilarating. And what I lacked in skills and savvy, I made up for in perseverance and passion.

I later went on to study Film and Media Production in college, gaining the technical skills and experience I needed to launch my videography business.

I’ve now owned and ran Kayla Marie Videography, LLC for 5 years and still can’t believe I get to do this for my job! I feel so lucky to get to be with a couple on one of the most exciting days of their lives, capturing it all on video. Editing the footage into the perfect wedding film is the icing on top of the cake!
